The other day we showed you basically the pinnacle of American engine building with a look inside the shop of Sandy Wilkins and the build of a secretive and complex variant of the RY45 V8. Today we take you to parts unknown with a dude working in flip flops on an engine just as bad ass but way smaller. In some respects this actually may be MORE bad ass, but we’ll leave the judging up to you.
So this is awesome because you are going to see the assembly of a custom, one-off 2-cylinder 250cc Honda engine that was made from two single cylinder 125 engines. We’re guessing that this video comes from the region of southeast Asia as small engines and scooters are the prime movers in those countries but that’s a straight up guess.
There are other videos that show the cutting, slicing, and welding of the block and cylinder heads but this is the assembly video and in many ways the most interesting for us. Watching it all go together it great and if you have a keen eye you can spot the most significantly modified parts. You’ll get a little glimpse into the talents of this fabricator the couple of times we see him weld here. The dude has skills!
