Honkai Star Rail’s major 1.4 update “Jolted Awake From a Winter Dream” with new areas: Old Weapon Testing Ground and Pillars of Creation, the Aetherium Wars game, new playable characters, and more has launched on iOS, Android, and PC as of a few hours ago. Alongside the update launching, Honkai Star Rail has also launched globally on PS5 with cross progression. If you pre-loaded on PC or mobile, the download within the app client will not be much. On PS5, the Honkai Star Rail download size is about 34GB. If you do plan on playing on PS5, make sure you carefully go through the menus so you don’t inadvertently create a new HoYoverse account linked to PSN rather than having your main one linked. Since I already had this setup for Genshin Impact, it just picked that up and had me signed in when I booted up Honkai Star Rail. Watch the Honkai Star Rail PS5 launch trailer below:
