Over a decade after the sequel's failure, Screen Rant's own Pitch Meeting series is taking a look back at Wrath of the Titans. The 2012 movie acted as a follow-up to the 2010 Clash of the Titans remake, continuing the adventures of Sam Worthington's Perseus as he's brought back into the struggles of the gods when he's tasked by Zeus to save his father and humanity from the rise of the eponymous beings when their powers grow as mankind turns their back on the gods. Also featuring the returns of Liam Neeson, Ralph Fiennes and Danny Huston, the sequel was a critical and commercial failure, grossing almost $200 million less than its predecessor.
