The Golden State Warriors signed Draymond Green to an extension in the NBA offseason. He is a critical player in the Warriors dynasty, winning four championships in the last ten years. Green suffered an ankle sprain before the start of the pre-season. Now, a huge injury update might impact the start of the season.
The starting forward for the Warriors was expected to miss four to six weeks since suffering the ankle injury in practice. It was said that Green had an individual workout on Friday to test the ankle.
In an attempt to make a full recovery, he hasn’t played in any pre-season games or participated in practices. According to reports, he will be evaluated on Monday. There is hope he will be ready for the start of the regular season opener on October 24th.

Green averaged 8.5 points, 7.2 rebounds, and 6.8 assists in 73 appearances in 2022-23. He remains a component this season in the team’s success moving forward. The ankle injury is something to watch for as a Warriors fan.
