After playing the character in three movies, Joel McHale shares his excitement for Karl Urban's casting as Johnny Cage in the upcoming Mortal Kombat 2. Urban will play the movie martial artist-turned-defender of Earthrealm in the upcoming sequel to 2021's live-action adaptation of the bloody video game franchise. McHale has voiced Cage across two animated movies since 2020, and the Community star will return and play a central role in the upcoming third installment, Mortal Kombat Legend: Cage Match.
