Daryl Dixon drags the mystery of Laurent's powers across the entirety of its debut season, but the spinoff's finale episode, "Coming Home," addresses every burning question – more or less – about this intriguing new The Walking Dead character. Robert Kirkman's The Walking Dead universe functions on a mostly realistic level, zombies aside. Daryl Dixon episode 1 tossed that rule aside by introducing Louis Puech Scigliuzzi as Laurent – a boy raised by nuns and worshiped as a messiah by a group known as the Union of Hope. Stranger still, the spinoff's series premiere asserted that Laurent harbored a special gift to predict the future, and had foreseen Daryl Dixon arriving in France.
