This is a story from the 1930s recalling the triumph of the the University of Washington’s rowing team, from their Depression-era beginnings to competing at the 1936 Berlin Olympics. It’s adapted from the bestselling book of the same name. Telling the underdogs story of how these boys got together and made it all the way to the Olympics to victory. “The stakes were much higher for them… and it gave them an edge.” Starring Joel Edgerton and Callum Turner, with Jack Mulhern, Sam Strike, Peter Guinness, Alec Newman, Luke Slattery, Thomas Elms, Tom Varey, Bruce Herbelin-Earle.
