Memphis Grizzlies head coach, Taylor Jenkins, has responded to an ESPN story that raised questions about the influence of Ja Morant’s father, Tee Morant, on the young NBA star’s recent troubles.
In recent months, Ja Morant faced criticism and a 25-game suspension to start the 2023-24 season due to his inappropriate behavior, leading some within the Grizzlies organization to point to Tee Morant’s presence at games and events as a contributing factor.
Tee Morant, who relocated to Memphis shortly after his son’s NBA draft, has been visible at Grizzlies games and social events, often enjoying VIP privileges and media attention.
