The Lakers have requested waivers on guard Quinndary Weatherspoon, the team announced. Weatherspoon was originally signed on Oct. 19.

Weatherspoon, a 27-year-old shooting guard and the No. 49 draft pick in 2019, joined the Lakers on October 19.
