Paramount has pushed A Quiet Place: Day One, the upcoming prequel to John Krasinski’s A Quiet Place movies, back two months amid a slate of recent release date changes. First announced in 2020, A Quiet Place: Day One is based on an original story created by Krasinski; however, directorial duties have been handed over to up-and-coming director Michael Sarnoski, who made his own feature debut with 2021’s Pig starring Nicolas Cage. Led by Academy Award-winning actor Lupita Nyong'o, the prequel’s impressive cast also includes Stranger Things’ Joseph Quinn and A Quiet Place Part II’s Djimon Hounsou.
