No matter how safe one is on public roads, accidents can still happen. The primary reason for this is that some people on the road just do not have the presence of mind that is required for efficient driving. Recently, a video of one such mindless rider crashing his bike with another biker on a highway has been shared online. The first biker in this video, without checking behind, just turns and causes a severe accident on the road with another biker.

The video of this particular rider’s crash has been shared on the popular social media platform Reddit. In the video, shared with a caption stating, “How can you be not aware of surroundings while on the road,” we can see a person on a commuter bike riding in the third right lane of a highway. This biker was being followed by a Maruti Suzuki Dzire sedan and a Tata Altroz hatchback.
The dashcam footage from a rear camera of another car traveling in front then shows the deed of this stupid rider. This particular biker moves from the extreme right lane of the highway to the left lane. He just checks for a second before making this risky maneuver. After he quickly turns towards the left, what happens is another biker who appears to be on a Yamaha FZ naked streetfighter bike comes speeding from behind the Tata Altroz. The commuter bike rider by that time crashes into the FZ rider.

In the video, both riders can be seen crashing severely on the highway. The person on the commuter bike, after the crash, can be seen falling on the highway. However, the other person can be seen getting hit by the divider on the road. Now, what happened after their crash is currently unknown. The video abruptly ends after the crash. But from the looks of it, the person who crashed into the divider had a very strong impact.
Always be mindful on the road
No matter what vehicle a person is driving, the most important thing when driving on the road is to be mindful. A person driving should never be distracted, and before making any maneuver, they should check the surroundings. From this video, it can be noted that the rearview mirrors on the commuter bike were missing, and for this reason, he could not have seen the other biker coming in speed. This is a very careless act from the commuter bike rider in this particular video.
Additionally, the person coming from behind the Tata Altroz also seemed to be rushing. He could have also avoided the crash had he not been in such high speed and overtaken the Altroz so aggressively. But predominantly in this case, the major fault was the bike rider who did not even care to slow down before turning to the left lane all the way from the right lane.
