Following its full reveal on Friday, the next major Genshin Impact (Free) update can now be pre-installed on mobile and PC platforms. Genshin Impact 4.2 titled “Masquerade of the Guilty” is due November 8th worldwide (or November 7th depending on your timezone) for iOS, Android, PS5, PS4, and PC platforms. This update will bring in the climax of Fontaine’s main storyline, new characters (Furina, the Hydro Archon, and Charlotte, the ace reporter), two new regions with a high tower (the foggy forest and roiling lake) and also bring in more World Quests for players alongside seasonal events. This update will also see a photography event take place in Fontaine. If you’re planning to pre-download the Genshin Impact 4.2 update, it is about 2.7GB on iPhone and iPad. Full patch notes will be available soon for this update. If you’ve not gotten it yet, you can download Genshin Impact for free on the App Store for iOS here and on Google Play for Android here. The PC version is available on the official website here and the Epic Games Store. If you play on iOS, with iOS 14.5 or iPadOS 14.5 and later, you can use PS5 and Xbox Series X|S controllers to play Genshin Impact.
