Udonis Haslem, after an illustrious 20-year playing career with the Heat, has made a formal return to the franchise, this time in a front-office capacity. The Miami Heat have appointed Haslem as the Vice President of Basketball Development, as reported by Tim Reynolds of The Associated Press.
Haslem’s responsibilities encompass collaborating with the coaching staff, offering mentorship to players within the Heat organization and the Sioux Falls Skyforce (Miami’s G League affiliate), and serving as a representative for the franchise in community and business engagements.
