Hawkins is a 6’5″ shooting guard who was picked in the second round of the 2023 NBA Draft by the Pelicans. He was a two-year starter at the University of Connecticut during his undergraduate career.He is a natural scorer with an ability to get to the basket and hit jumpers from the outside. He is also an excellent athlete with the ability to finish above the rim.
He showed glimpses of his talent during his rookie season with the Pelicans. He appeared in 12 games and averaged 8.3 points and 23.5 minutes per game. He also made 38.2% of his three-point attempts.
Jordan Hawkins is still a developing player, but he has all of the necessary qualities to become an NBA star. He is a passionate player who works hard to improve his game.
