So as long as you play the part.” FX Networks / Hulu have debuted a second trailer for the mystery thriller series A Murder at the End of the World, arriving for streaming soon. It’s the latest creation of filmmakers Brit Marling & Zal Batmanglij, creators of “The OA” series and collaborators on Sound of My Voice & The East previously. Emma Corrin stars as Darby Hart, a Gen Z amateur sleuth, who attempts to solve a murder at a secluded retreat. In this Hulu series, which puts a new spin on the classic whodunit, Darby and 11 other guests are invited by a reclusive billionaire to participate in a retreat at a remote and dazzling location. When one of the other guests is found dead, Darby must fight to prove it was murder against a tide of competing interests. This was shot in Iceland (and in Utah) if you’re wondering where all these gorgeous locations are. The series also stars Brit Marling, Harris Dickinson, Alice Braga, Joan Chen, Raúl Esparza, Jermaine Fowler, Javed Khan, & Clive Owen.
