Netflix has released a trailer for their next “How To” documentary, How to Become a Mob Boss, in the same series as their previous docs, How to Become a Tyrant, and How to Become a Cult Leader. All docs in the series have been narrated by Peter Dinklage (Elf, Game of Thrones). The series is developed by Citizen Jones, along with the production company Estuary Films. Executive produced by Jonas Bell Pasht, Jonah Bekhor, Peter Dinklage, David Ginsberg, and Jake Laufer, and co-executive produced by Brad Saunders.
The synopsis reads:
In this series, narrator Peter Dinklage takes you through this darkly satirical how-to guide that explores the rise and fall of history’s most notorious mob bosses – from Al Capone to Pablo Escobar – and their tactics for success. They add: “At a time when organized crime [still] generates over $1 trillion worldwide, when CEOs bend the rules to their liking, and when our politicians act increasingly like mafia kingpins, we couldn’t be more excited to share How to Become a Mob Boss. The series pulls back the curtain on the shadowy world of organized crime and offers a provocative, cautionary tale about the dangers of seeking power at all costs.”
This looks really interesting and well done. Anyone with any interest in the history of mobsters will undoubtedly be entertained by this. Netflix will debut How to Become a Mob Boss on November 14th, 2023. Check out the trailer below:
