Only a few days after a massive Mercedes-AMG G63 AMG crash in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, another one has surfaced from the same location. This accident happened at late night and while racing another vehicle – an Audi sedan. There is CCTV footage that shows the fire sparking G-Wagen.
According to the information, the Mercedes-Benz G-Wagen was racing against the unidentified Audi sedan at 3 AM. The G-Wagen driver lost control of the SUV and crashed into a Hyundai Verna and a Grand i10.

The driver was a youngster aged 24 years old. There were no injuries reported in the accident and even the occupants of the Hyundai Verna and Grand i10 were safe and sound. The footage also shows the badly beat-up Hyundai Verna, which has its rear wheel broken. Even the Hyundai Grand i10 was badly damaged.
While the exact reason for the accident remains unknown, it is highly likely that the G-Wagen being driven at high speed lost control and crashed into other vehicles.
Driving at high speeds within city limits is incredibly dangerous because the roads are not designed for such velocities. Additionally, city roads can present unexpected challenges, and speeding decreases the time available to react. Therefore, it is crucial to adhere to the speed limits on these roads. It is important to note that most SUVs are not engineered for high-speed turns. The elevated ground clearance can cause instability and a wobbly sensation while navigating corners. This body roll can result in the vehicle losing control in an instant. It is essential to be aware of a vehicle’s limitations and never participate in street racing.
Another G-Wagen accident happened a few days ago
The accident took place late at night and was caused by excessive speeding. Although specific details of the incident are not available, it resulted in the G-Wagen losing control and colliding with the guardrails of the BRTS corridor, causing significant damage to the front of the vehicle. Photos and videos captured after the accident capture the extent of the damages. The front end of the vehicle sustained the most impact, with noticeable damage observed. While the bonnet lid remains intact, there are visible damages to the front. The pillars seem undamaged, but the windshield has cracked.
Despite the G-Wagen being equipped with modern technology and electronic systems, there is still a risk of losing control. SUVs, in general, are less stable due to their top-heavy nature and higher centre of gravity compared to sedans or hatchbacks. This highlights the importance of exercising extra caution while driving SUVs, especially at high speeds, as they are more prone to loss of control and tipping over.
The G63 AMG is an impressively fast vehicle, powered by a 4.0-litre petrol engine producing 577 PS and 850 Nm of torque. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 Kph in under 5 seconds. However, like other SUVs with a higher centre of gravity, it may not handle rapid changes in direction as effectively.
In addition, these large SUVs are heavier and require more space to slow down. Despite the G63 AMG having excellent brakes, it is still subject to the laws of physics, and the increased weight and height influence its handling characteristics.
