“Be good to yourself, Charlie, and get as far away from here as you can.” Vertical has unveiled the official trailer for an assassin action film called Fast Charlie, the latest feature from acclaimed filmmaker Phillip Noyce (of Patriot Games, Clear and Present Danger, The Saint, Salt, The Giver). Pierce Brosnan stars as Charlie Swift – a fixer with a problem: the thug he’s after is now missing his head, and Charlie will only be paid if the body can be identified. Enter Marcie Kramer, the victim’s ex-wife and a woman with all the skills Charlie needs – so they partner up. Along the way, Charlie and Marcie fight to protect the legacy of Charlie’s best friend and mentor, Stan Mullen (James Caan in his final performance), while bringing down Beggar and his entire crew. The cast also includes Morena Baccarin, Gbenga Akinnagbe, Toby Huss, along with Sharon Gless and Caan. That little blue scope on his gun is an amusing detail.
