Only some will recognize his name, as he is best known as a champion at the game of snooker (similar to billiards) and was famous in the 1990s. Facing the end of a wildly successful but turbulent career, snooker legend Ronnie O’Sullivan is finally keeping the game at arm’s length. However over the course of a season leading up to a career-defining tournament, and triggered by memories of the past, he finds himself spiralling back into the sport’s intense grip. Produced by David Beckham’s Studio 99 and directed by Sam Blair, this is a film that pushes at the limits of sporting biographies, a layered and sophisticated story of a man grappling with his talent and his demons.
