A powerful and ultra luxurious SUV may seem like the perfect addition to the Bugatti family in the near future, but for better or worse, the French marque has no plans of building one as it would undermine the brand’s exclusivity. However, if it ever has a change of heart, drawing inspiration from independent designer Sergiy Dvorntskyy’s stunning Centurion SUV Concept would be a wise choice.
Creating an SUV that complements a brand best known for building industry-leading hypercars is no easy feat but somehow, Dvorntskyy has made it work. How? Well, the Centurion takes a lot of design inspiration from the Chiron, but has its own unique flair and perfectly walks the fine line between aggressive performance and posh luxury.

The front fascia is where most of the Chiron inspiration can be found in this study. LED headlights almost identical to those of the W16-powered hypercar catch the eye before you notice the huge horseshoe grille, similar in size to the snout of the special W16 Mistral. The Bugatti Centurion also has large outer air intakes with carbon fiber accents and a silver element running across the width of the bumper.
Dvorntskyy has envisioned his creation as being powered by a quad-turbocharged W12 engine supplemented by electric motors from Rimac. As such, the hood is much longer than any current Bugatti model and more akin to those from the 1930s. The powertrain would be good for a monumental, and obviously theoretical, 2,150 hp and 1,733 lb-ft (2,350 Nm) of torque.
The simple shape and flowing curves of the sides are particularly gorgeous while the large wheels and color-matched brake calipers also look excellent. The talented designer has also made sure to stretch the roof as far back as possible to maximize interior space. Completing the SUV’s design is a carbon fiber-clad fascia and a complex array of LED lights similar to those of the limited-run Divo.
In reality, Bugatti’s design director, Achim Anscheidt, ruled out the possibility of the company building an SUV last year. He emphasized that Bugatti has never been focused on high-volume production, and if they were to consider an SUV, it would require making their existing models even more exclusive than they already are.
