The Walking Dead’s Chandler Riggs will play Peter Parker in a “horror Spider-Man fan film” that’s being directed by Andy Chen. The filmmaker shared a little sneak peek of the project on Instagram, and there’s also some behind-the-scenes footage from the set that features Riggs shooting some of his scenes.
The scenes you’ll see include Peter Parker discovering his newfound powers in his bedroom before climbing the walls. It’ll be cool to see how this turns out! I’m up for watching a Spider-Man horror movie!
Chen previously directed a short film titled “Finoa,” which went super viral said: “I had this idea to make a horror Spider-Man fan film soon after my Shrek horror film blew up.”
The rest of the cast includes Carl Addicott as Uncle Ben Parker, Holgie Forrester as Aunt May, Willy’s Wonderland actress Caylee Cown as Gwen Stacy, Kyra Gardner as Mary Jane Watson, and Andrew Hernon as J. Jonah Jameson.
The movie is expected to be released on YouTube before the end of 2023. Check out the photos and video below and let us know what you think!
