The Los Angeles Lakers acquired a sharpshooter in a recent NBA trade proposal to help the team’s offense. They haven’t quite hit the ground running this season, as after 12 games, they have a 6-6 record.
After making the Western Conference Finals last season, the Lakers aim to return there again this season. Last season, Los Angeles made a lot of moves during the season to help bolster their roster, as they have been trying to build a team around LeBron James and Anthony Davis. One of the things that teams have done with James is to surround him with great shooters.
The Lakers always seem to be looking to add and improve their team, and getting a sharpshooter is likely on their wish list. Recently, WizofAwes spoke about a trade proposal that sends Corey Kispert to Los Angeles.
In the proposed three-team deal, the Lakers get Kispert, the New Orleans Pelicans get Tyus Jones, and the Wizards get Jonas Valanciunas, Max Christie, Maxwell James, and a second-round pick.

Kispert has been in the league for three seasons now and like in college has been a very good shooter for the Wizards. In his career, Kispert is shooting 38.9 percent from three-point range. While he might not be a star in the league, Kispert is a very good three-point shooter who would pair nicely with James and Davis.
This season, of players that usually shoot three-pointers for the Lakers, James is currently shooting from beyond the arc at the most efficient clip at 37.3 percent this season. Overall, the Lakers are below average in three-point shooting percentage at 34.3 percent.
