If you happen to be an exotic car collector this might be your next ride. Finished in Absolutely Red, this Lexus LFA supercar has just 68 miles (109 km) on the odometer. It’s evidently one of just 38 in this color, and it’s probably the closest one could get to buying a new LFA today. It can be yours so long as you’re willing to be the highest bidder.
The LFA is about as iconic as it gets for 21st-century sports cars from Japan. At the heart of this beast lies a bespoke 4.8-liter V10 engine, a six-speed automatic sequential gearbox, and rear-wheel drive. From the factory, it made 552 hp (412 kW) and 354 lb-ft (480 Nm) of torque.
This specific example is equipped with chrome 20-inch wheels, Brembo carbon ceramic disc brakes, and eye-catching bright yellow calipers. According to the auction listing, it holds the designation number 270 out of the total 500 LFAs produced. The low mileage has evidently preserved the exterior in excellent condition, and the interior shows minimal signs of wear.

Frankly, the cabin doesn’t look very dated in terms of design either. The seats, door pulls, and leather upholstery on the steering wheel all get bright red coloring. The center control tunnel is sleek and blends nicely into the dash which itself is elegant. If anything strange sticks out it’s got to be the seat controls which feel good in practice but do look strange.
Back in 2021, a yellow LFA with just 72 miles traded hands publicly for $808,000. Since then we bet these things have only appreciated in value. Another 2012 model sold for $830,000 in May of this year and it had 1,800 miles on it at the time. Could this one go for seven figures? It wouldn’t be the first time an LFA did. One with just 47 miles sold for $1.1 million earlier this year.
This beauty goes over the auction block at Mecums’s 2024 Kissimmee event in Florida. We just hope that the next owner does the right thing and drives it. There’s got to be some sort of eternal penalty for keeping a V10 of this ilk hidden away and silent.
