An arrest warrant has been issued for 18-year-old Sheng Gao, a Chinese exchange student accused of breaking into the San Mateo County home of Golden State Warriors’ star, Steph Curry, in October.
Reported by Tim Fang of CBS, Gao was scheduled for arraignment in Redwood City misdemeanor court, but he failed to appear, leading a judge to issue a bench warrant for his arrest, setting bail at $500.
According to prosecutors, Gao, seeking an autograph, took a bus from Cupertino to Atherton, where he located Curry’s residence with the help of a local woman.
