Apple TV+ renewed Silo for a second season, but it might be a while before it releases, so fans should check out another science fiction series that serves as the perfect replacement for the Rebecca Ferguson-led drama. Season 1 of the dystopian show premiered in May 2023 and received positive reviews from critics, resulting in Apple TV+ ordering a second season. The cast and crew began filming in late June (around the time of the season 1 finale) but had to pause production due to the SAG-AFTRA strike. They resumed filming Silo season 2 in December following the strike's end, but the delay could mean the episodes won't come out until late 2024 or early 2025.
