The reigning NBA MVP, Joel Embiid, powered through an ankle injury to extend his impressive 30-10 streak to 13 games, contributing 31 points and 10 rebounds in the Philadelphia 76ers’ 121-111 win over the Toronto Raptors.
Despite a rough start, Embiid’s determination shone through as he scored all his points following an awkward fall in the first quarter. This streak of 30 points and 10 rebounds is the longest since Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s 16-game run in 1971-72. Embiid’s scoring spree of 30 points or more in 14 consecutive games is the most since James Harden’s 32-game streak in 2018-19.
After briefly leaving the court due to the injury, Embiid returned in the second quarter with a more aggressive approach, finishing the half with 11 points. Despite limping and showing signs of discomfort, Embiid’s performance didn’t falter in the second half, adding nine assists and four blocks to his tally.
“I saw that I wasn’t being aggressive,” Embiid said. “But then I let the game come to me. I didn’t force shots, and in the third quarter, I was able to get a few shots to go.”

Supporting Embiid’s effort, Tobias Harris and Tyrese Maxey scored 33 points, marking only the second time in franchise history that three players scored 30-plus points in a game for the 76ers.
Harris’s performance was particularly notable in the first half with 24 points, while Maxey contributed significantly with 10 assists. Maxey praised Harris for his professionalism and readiness, acknowledging his vital role in the game.
“Tobias has been around for a long time,” Maxey said. “He knows how to stay professional and stay ready. He did that tonight. He’s been huge. We appreciate him for that.”

Pascal Siakam led the Raptors with 31 points, and Jakob Poeltl added 19. Despite an early 15-point lead by Toronto, Philadelphia took control in the second quarter, led by Harris’s efforts.
Nurse credited the 76ers for their strategic approach to Embiid and highlighted Harris’s impact in shifting the game’s momentum.
“Give them credit because they did a good job planning for Joel,” Nurse said. “We got the ball where it needed to go after that, and it happened to be Tobias, and he energized us. He’s a really good player.
“Some nights the shots find you, and some nights they don’t,” Nurse explained. “Tonight, they found him and he took advantage of it.”
Looking ahead, the Raptors will host the Utah Jazz, while the 76ers will hit the road to take on the Miami Heat for their next games.
