Joel Embiid, the center for the Philadelphia 76ers, won’t be hitting the court for their Christmas Day match against the Miami Heat. His absence is a result of a sprained right ankle sustained during the Sixers’ win against the Toronto Raptors on Friday.
The future is uncertain regarding his availability post the Christmas Day game. The 76ers are set to face the Orlando Magic on Wednesday in their upcoming game away from home.
