We expect the diesel engine to continue operating in Kia’s flagship MPV sold in India. an 8 speed automatic gearbox is also expected to be offered standard with this engine.

Kia EV9
Introduced globally in 2023, the Kia EV9 stands as the flagship EV product. Boasting a claimed range of over 541 km, depending on the chosen powertrain, the EV9 serves as an electric alternative to the internationally acclaimed Kia Telluride SUV. The expectation is that Kia will introduce the EV9 in India through the completely built-up unit (CBU) route. The EV9 will be projected as a butch alternative to the Kia EV6 luxury crossover, which has become quite popular among buyers in India despite its limited availability.
