But before you witness him as the god of the sea as well as the world's most absent father — and before Stephens finally makes his debut on the Disney+ series — it's worth going back and watching his gut-wrenching performance in the Treasure Island prequel Black Sails. The series begins with Captain Flint (Stephens) on the hunt for treasure, with the pirate having garnered quite a reputation for himself through his pillaging and plundering. Before long, however, it is revealed that Flint is harboring a lot more emotional turmoil than expected.
