The Indiana Pacers contacted the Utah Jazz to inquire about the possibility of acquiring Lauri Markkanen. However, the Jazz did not show any interest in trading Markkanen.
According to sources from ESPN’s Zach Lowe, the Pacers eventually shifted their focus to a trade for Pascal Siakam.
Markkanen is considered a key asset for the team. It is reported that the Jazz would only consider moving him if a team were willing to offer a significantly higher value in return.
