A Court of Thorns & Roses is among of the most popular books regularly discussed in the online book community, but Sarah J. Maas' story has its flaws — and Hulu's upcoming TV adaptation has the opportunity to improve on the source material by fixing them. In general, book adaptations fare better when they stick faithfully to the stories they're based on, something Disney's Percy Jackson show is proving 10 times over. However, it's necessary to take some liberties when bringing a story from the page to the screen. In ACOTAR's case, it might even benefit the narrative.
