BODY | Maelys B-Flex Arm Cream, B-Tight Booty Mask and B-Flat Belly Cream

All Maelys products are free of parabens, phthalates, and SLS and PETA certified and are said to be tested on panels of “real women of all shapes and sizes and levels of badass-ery”. There are products for literally every part of the body from the B-FOXY Inner Thigh Firming Cream to the B-PERKY Lift and Firm Boob Mask! There are a couple of face products as well, but the body sculpting products are their specialty!  

I was sent the B-FLEX Lift & Firm Arm Cream, B-FLAT Firming Belly Cream and the B-TIGHT Booty Mask to try out and I will admit that I have mostly been enjoying these products for the sensorial aspect versus the slimming, smoothing and flattening effects. To see real results, you need to be diligent about applying these products to your skin every day for at least 2 months. I only recently restarted using these consistently so I will have to update you all in 40 days, but for now here are my initial thoughts on what I was sent!

B-FLEX Lift & Firm Arm Cream*

The colour of this cream is FUN and the scent is sweet in a very delicious way where you feel like you have been made a fizzy mocktail. With all three of these products, there will be a tingling or warming sensation shortly after application especially if you apply the creams right after you get out of the shower. Personally, I like the warming sensation, but if you don’t know it’s coming, it can be a bit alarming! The cream absorbs quickly and is hydrating. You will not need to apply another moisturizer on top unless you have VERY dry skin. 

The before and after photos of people using this cream were pretty dramatic especially if you had stretch marks after just 40 days of use so I am curious as to whether I will see results. I know I should never trust the photos on a brand’s website, but man were they still kind of crazy to look at! The cream focus on firming the skin in the belly with pink pepperslim extract, fading the appearance of stretch marks using avocado extract (contains Vitamin A that encourages collagen production) all while hydrating with shea and cocoa butter. On the Maelys website, this cream is recommended for postpartum moms and anyone embarking on a weight loss journey. For me, women often get softer in this lower belly area so I like the idea that this cream could be used to firm things up so that my shapewear doesn’t have to work so hard as I wear a lot of pencil style skirts and dresses to work!

The scent of the belly cream is pleasantly fruity, absorbs quickly and does feel quite tingly on the skin. I barely felt anything my arms, but maybe because my belly is more sensitive I felt it more!

Now, THIS was the product I was most interested in trying because I have always had a flat butt, but now that I am older, it’s evident that my ass could use some help as it fights gravity and middle age. I’m not looking for a miracle, just a little bit of perkiness and more shape. I know that exercise is probably the thing that will help me the most, but let’s just say that I will take a body cream any day at this point in my life though my mother just told me that now that I am in my 40s I really should start trying to exercise more. Also, even though this says “mask”, this is a leave-on product.

This formula contains the smoothing pink pepperslim extract, guarana seed extract (acts a mild astringent and antioxidant) and hyaluronic acid to help with “plumpness”. I noticed that this formula also contains, coffee bean extract and caffeine so some of that tightening we see might be due to these and will only be temporary if so.

As for the scent with this mask, it was still sweet, but much less so than with the previous two products. My butt also feels like it’s on fire everytime I use it, but it is tolerable and disappears a couple of minutes after I use it. I kind of look forward to the feeling now because it feels like something is happening on my cheeks!
