Ilia Beauty The Base Face Milk is a new vegan face milk that can be used as an essence or a lightweight moisturizer. This is a very interesting product and a lot like the Laneige Cream Skin Toner & Moisturizer. They kept it very real with this formula and I appreciate that. No alcohol, no fragrance, just moisture. This is a lightweight runny cream consistency that can be used as the first step in your skincare routine and prior to makeup. It’s packed with highly moisturizing ingredients like glyceride, squalane, argan oil, and a few different types of Hyaluronic Acid.
I’m pretty impressed with this formula. I already use Laneige Cream Skin but have to admit the sheer amount of HA in the new Ilia The Base Face Milk has me curious. As a dry skin girl I’m always looking for highly moisturizer products to start off my routine. Something that will aid my moisturizer to sink in easier and to create a nice base for my other skincare and makeup. Essences like this are a great way to do that. Especially ones that contain Hyaluronic Acid. The Laneige one is lovely but I think Ilia definitely did more with this formula. I’m eager to check it out. I’ll share my thoughts with you after trying it.
