Merit Flush Balm in Rouge is back just in time for Valentine’s Day (and Winter)! Merit Flush Balm Cheek Color is a truly one of my favorite formulas. It’s just one of the lightest, easiest to blend cream blushes I’ve ever purchased not to mention it always makes me look like like I’m glowing. And that’s the thing, they don’t have any shimmer or glitter! But they still give off that healthy glow without any of that.
Merit Flush Balm in Rouge returns today and if you’re a fan of this formula you might want to snatch it up for your cold girl makeup looks! This is basically a no apology red. Yes, red. Sadly, it’s not a great pick if you have natural redness to your skin or suffer from rosacea but it’s perfect for anyone with medium or deep skin tones and sure, light medium skin tones like my own can get away with it too! It’s that perfect “I’ve been in the cold way too long” shade! Or the “I’ve just been kissed and I’m blushing!” look.
I was pretty flattered and happy when I opened a box recently and got this shade sent to me as I’ve been a fan of the formula for a while and I have several shades I purchased. This was one shade I didn’t have and it’s perfect. I know I’ll make a ton of use out of as I love shades like this for more natural looks and running errands. It just gives me that perfect pinch of color to wake up my dull skin and make me look more alive and healthy.
The formula, as I mentioned above, is delightful as well! I have drier skin and this just melts into my skin, looks super smooth, and seamless. It doesn’t look like makeup at all but more like I’m blushing! Especially if you aren’t doing heavy eye makeup as you just look like you have healthy color on your cheeks! Like someone just pinched you! It also wears incredibly long. I’m not a big cream blush fan, I prefer powder, but this formula doesn’t fade easily. I just wanna know the secret to how it just makes your face glow!
