Warner Bros. is working on a Harry Potter TV remake for Max, but there are plenty of other YA and middle grade fantasy books deserving of adaptations — and they should probably get a series instead. While the notion of a Harry Potter show that faithfully adapts the books is exciting for longtime fans, there's controversy surrounding the upcoming reboot. For one, the Harry Potter movies remain immensely popular, and it'll be difficult to sell viewers on a new cast. The backlash against author J.K. Rowling may also work against the series.
