Aston Martin confirmed that the new generation of the Vantage will debut on February 12. The announcement was accompanied by a new teaser, revealing the side view of the upcoming sportscar from a rather dramatic angle.
The new model is described as “the fastest and most exhilarating example” of the Vantage nameplate, hinting at an increased power output and improved performance compared to the outgoing generation. Still, Aston Martin makes it clear that this “isn’t just a numbers game” as the new generation is designed for those “that crave driving purity and revel at the limit”.

The company didn’t go into specifics, but we expect the Vantage to feature a tuned version of the AMG-sourced twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine. As a refresher, the mill produces 577 hp (430 kW / 585 PS) in the 2024 Mercedes-AMG GT 63, and up to 671 hp (500 kW / 680 PS) in the Aston Martin DB12.
In terms of exterior design, earlier spy shots have shown us what to expect from the coupe and roadster versions of the Vantage. The model has familiar proportions as it’s basically an updated version of its predecessor. However, while the profile and the rear end look very similar, the face has been completely redesigned with new fender-mounted headlights flanking a slightly smaller grille. It is also safe to assume that the Vantage will benefit from an overhauled interior with new infotainment technology, following the example of the DB12.
To hype things up further, Aston Martin published a short video teaser on X (ex-Twitter) featuring Fernando Alonso. The F1 driver is on the same page with the press release, saying that while lap times, acceleration figures, and top speed are crucial for him on the track, what “real drivers” care about on a sportscar is to “let them play”.
Together with the debut of the new Vantage on February 12, Aston Martin will reveal the Vantage GT3 racecar and the AMR24 F1 singe-seater for the new season.
