HoYoverse recently revealed the next major Genshin Impact (Free) update that will launch beginning this Wednesday for mobile, PC, and PlayStation. Genshin Impact version 4.4 “Vibrant Harriers Aloft in the Spring Breeze” brings in an expansion of Liyue to the northwest connecting to Fontaine in the Chenyu Vale area, the Lantern Rite Festival event and mini games with a free new Xingqiu outfit, new playable characters: Xianyun and Gaming, costumes for Shenhe and Ganyu, and more. As usual, pre-installation for the new update has gone live on mobile and PC ahead of its launch. If you’d like to pre-load the update, you can do so from the title screen on mobile or PC as usual. If you’ve not gotten it yet, you can download Genshin Impact for free on the App Store for iOS here and on Google Play for Android here. The PC version is available on the official website here and the Epic Games Store. If you play on iOS, with iOS 14.5 or iPadOS 14.5 and later, you can use PS5 and Xbox Series X|S controllers to play Genshin Impact.
