Ford has unveiled the updated 2025 Ford Explorer, which has received a lot of updates, which includes some styling changes, a new interior and tech features.
On the outside, Ford says that the 2025 Explorer has a “bolder” exterior with a larger grille, new LED headlights, a front skid plate and lower, wider air curtains. There’s a new black-painted roof option and at the rear the taillights have been redesigned.
Inside the 2025 Explorer gets a redesigned interior with higher quality materials, new colors and the dashboard has been pushed forward to give front-row passengers more space.
On the tech front, the 2025 Explorer is the first Ford vehicle to include the new Ford Digital Experience, which allows owners to access their digital life inside the car. At the center of the dashboard there’s a 13.2-inch touchscreen and a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster in front of the driver. Both screens are integrated with Google Maps to display navigation information. There’s also the Google Assistant and when parked, you can stream videos and movies on the touchscreen.

Ford has also expanded the availability of the hands-free BlueCruise system, which enables hands-free driving on the highway
Under the hood buyers can choose either a turbocharged 2.3-liter EcoBoost engine or a 3.0-liter EcoBoost engine with 400 horsepower. The more powerful engine is standard on the ST version and optional on the Platinum trim level.
The pricing for the 2025 Ford Explorer starts at $41,220, including destination. It’s expected to arrive in the second quarter of 2024.
