Two upcoming sci-fi movies starring Chris Pratt must fix his disappointing streak in the genre that's been going on for nearly a decade. While Pratt's flagship franchise Guardians of the Galaxy certainly has sci-fi elements, it essentially resides in its own genre as a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Outside the MCU, Pratt has not found much success among critics in recent years. His once-promising Jurassic World franchise has diminished in quality with each installment, and his fan-favorite series The Terminal List received a 40% on Rotten Tomatoes.
