Those of you old enough to remember the year 1991, or at least, to have watched the videotapes from that year, will enjoy soaking up some nostalgia vibes this week. Everyone was asked to bring five movies to the show this episode and none of them were films Nominated for Best Picture by the Academy. In fact, you could almost consider this the anti-Oscar show of 1991. The guests this week were more interested in their own opinions than anyone else’s and it shows by the diversity of films we talk about.
Heather Baxendale Walsh has her own box of Nostalgia to dip into, and Nicole Ayers is looking over her shoulder to pick something out as well. Will Slater has Neo Noir on his mind, and David Brook likes some trash that you might want to sort through as well. Richard continues to champion a dead media format with his selections.
When we get to the exit question of the week, you may want to sit down for one answer. It is honest but it ain’t going to please everyone.
