To promote the 2024 Women’s Premier League (WPL) and add flair to the opening ceremony, the popular Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor was seen making a magnificent entrance at Bangalore’s M Chinnaswamy Stadium. The actor arrived at his stage in the middle of the stadium on a Harley Davidson motorcycle, with pyro guns shooting sparkles at the back. He then showcased his dance moves on some of the most popular songs from his movies, eliciting cheers from the entire stadium crowd.

Shahid Kapoor’s Performance at WPL Opening Ceremony
The video of Shahid Kapoor providing a glimpse of his entire performance at the Bangalore stadium has been shared on Instagram by the actor himself. In the video captioned, “A shaandar night calls for a special performance at the Queendom of @wplt20.” The actor was seen sitting on his bike before driving it on the outer circle of the cricket field. The video then shows the pyro sparkles coming out of the back of his Harley Davidson motorcycle, and he then starts riding it. To add to the amazing entry, the background music was played from his popular movie “Kabir Singh”.
Following this, he then parked his bike and walked all the way to the stage, which was set up in the middle of the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore, Karnataka. After stepping on the stage, he then started his performance on the popular song “Shaam Shaandaar” from his movie “Shaandar”. The entire public at the stadium was cheering the actor, and in the video shared by Shahid Kapoor, BCCI President Jay Shah was also seen in the stands.
Women’s Premier League 2024
As mentioned, the actor was invited to perform at the inaugural ceremony of the Women’s Premier League in Bangalore. The first match of this year’s WPL took place between Delhi Capitals and Mumbai Indians. The match was won by the Mumbai Indians team by four wickets. Mumbai Indians chased the score of 171 set by Delhi Capitals.
Shahid Kapoor’s Love for Bikes
The famous Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor is known for his deep-rooted love for riding motorcycles, and over the years, he has bought a number of motorcycles. The most recent bike that he bought for himself is a Rs 14 lakh Ducati Scrambler Desert Sled. He bought this motorcycle finished in the shade of blue and white with gold-spoked wheels. This bike comes powered by an 803cc, L-twin-cylinder, and air-cooled engine. It generates a maximum power of 75 Bhp and peak torque of 68 Nm.
Apart from this, he also owns a Ducati Scrambler 1100 that he bought back in 2019. This special edition motorcycle gets brushed aluminum parts and a unique blue-grey color. This motorcycle also gets a 1,079cc, liquid-cooled, L-twin engine that produces a maximum power of 85 Bhp at 7,600 rpm and 88 Nm of peak torque at 4,750 rpm. Shahid Kapoor also owns a BMW R 1250 GS. This flagship adventure touring motorcycle from BMW comes powered by a massive 1,254cc boxer engine that produces a maximum power of 138 PS.
