Curry amassed 31 points and 11 rebounds, marking a swift comeback and contributing to one of the season’s best starts for the Warriors. Golden State’s rapid 14-0 lead set the tone for the game, although the Knicks sometimes managed to keep the contest within reach.
“Every night’s different, but it didn’t hurt that in the Garden, I had a good vibe and a good flow going,” Curry said.
Jonathan Kuminga‘s contribution of 25 points helped the Warriors extend their road winning streak to seven games, the longest since the 2018-19 season. With this win, Golden State has now triumphed in 10 of their last 12 matches.

Curry, who ended the game with eight 3-pointers, and Klay Thompson, who added 16 points, were instrumental in maintaining the Warriors’ lead. Chris Paul also played a significant role, scoring 11 points and dishing out six assists in his second game back after a lengthy absence due to a broken left hand.
“There’s nothing like getting out there and playing, especially with our team,” Paul said. “We’ve got so many different ways that we are able to play with our team and I think the spirit is right and we’ve just got to keep playing the right way.”
The Knicks, led by Jalen Brunson with 27 points, faced challenges early in the game, missing their first nine shots, contributing to an early 17-point deficit. Despite the rough start, New York narrowed the gap, thanks partly to Donte DiVincenzo and Josh Hart‘s efforts, who scored 16 and 14 points, respectively.

“They hit us hard. They got out in transition, got easy buckets and then we had to fight out of a big hole, which we ended up doing,” Knicks coach Tom Thibodeau said. “But first five or six minutes obviously weren’t our best, but I thought after that we did a pretty good job.”
Despite the Knicks’ resilience, Curry’s clutch three-pointers in the final minutes sealed the win for the Warriors, pushing their lead back into double digits and ensuring a victory.
As the teams look ahead, the Warriors are set to face the Toronto Raptors on Friday night, while the Knicks will meet the Cleveland Cavaliers on Sunday night.
