“How could you let it happen, Jack?” IFC Films has revealed the full official trailer for acclaimed indie horror thriller Late Night with the Devil, made by the Australian filmmakers Cameron & Colin Cairnes. This first premiered at last year’s SXSW Film Festival, playing at tons of other festivals around the world. Tune in this spring. A live television broadcast back in 1977 goes horribly wrong, unleashing evil into the nation’s living rooms. Presented as found footage. Set in the 1970s, the film follows charismatic late-night host Jack Delroy (portrayed by the great iconoclast David Dastmalchian), who, in an effort to boost the ratings of his once hugely popular “Night Owls”, has invited an eerie tableau of guests for his Hail Mary of an occult-focused Halloween broadcast. Dastmalchian stars as the host, joined by Laura Gordon, Ingrid Torelli, Ian Bliss, Fayssal Bazzi, and Rhys Auteri.
