Zeekr holds 1.4% of the Israeli market in February.
Based on data shared with us by our local partner cartube.co.il, the Israeli new light vehicle market decreases -10.3% year-on-year in February to 26,143. The year-to-date tally is off -16.8% to 63,490. The top 3 brands all fall faster than the market, with Hyundai (-22.9%), Kia (-19%) and Toyota (-13.2%) all suffering. In contrast Skoda (+29%) and BYD (+23.2%) defy the negative conetext and round out the Top 5. MG (+165%) and Mitsubishi (+9.8%) also post positive results in the remainder of the Top 10. Volkswagen (+77.3%) and Mercedes (+9.3%) are among the rare additional gainers further down. But the main surprise this month is Chinese newcomer Zeekr already up to #19 with a strong 1.4% share, outselling the likes of Tesla, Audi and BMW.
