Man takes his Nani on car dates
The video of this bond shared by the man and his Nani has been posted on Instagram by Official Humans of Bombay. In this short video, the man shows himself reaching his Nani’s home to pick her up and take her with him on car dates.
He mentions that each time he takes out his Nani on a date, she is as excited as the last one. He adds that she keeps on reminiscing about the Bangalore she grew up in. The man also shares that although they mostly have the same conversations each time, he looks forward to their car dates and loves every moment of it.
The story behind this deep bond
In the caption of the post, the person has shared the reasons behind this sweet gesture of his. He explains that from a young age, his Nani played a significant role in his life, essentially raising him and his sister while their parents worked.
He states that Nani helped him in cooking for them and with homework. Now because of his physical distance due to his work, he cannot live with her, but their emotional connection remains strong through regular phone calls and their special tradition of “car dates” in Bangalore.
The creator shares that through these outings, he gets to learn about Nani’s past. She tells him about her experiences and her different personalities beyond the role of a grandmother.
He adds that these car dates serve as a means for both of them to bond, reminisce, and create new memories together, and most importantly, these dates help them in strengthening their long-standing relationship.
Grandmother gifts fifty-year-old Jawa to grandsons
In another story of a beautiful bond shared by a grandmother and her grandsons, a video was shared online where a grandmother restored her husband’s old Jawa motorcycle and gifted it to his grandsons. The grandmother in the video stated that this bike was brought to their home by her husband 50 years ago.
Ever since then, it remained in their family, and now she wanted to restore it to its original condition and give it to their grandsons. The video then shows the entire restoration process where it got completely dismantled and then restored into a brand-new bike. The completely restored Jawa was then delivered to the home of the 82-year-old grandmother, who was seen mesmerized with the finished bike.
