Well, speaking of dupes we got Tarte Shape Tape Glow Blush Bar coming in hot for the Spring/Summer 2024 season and it’s serving up some rather delicious Hourglass Ambient Palette vibes isn’t it? Available in two shade selections the new Tarte Shape Tape Glow Blush Bar contains three baked powder blushes that contain “Amazonian Clay Diamond Complex” which promises to reflect the light and give a 3D blurring effect and a radiant lit-from-within-glow. Although, named the “Blush Bar” this is more of a highlighter and blusher palette and in the case of the darker palette, it’s more of a bronzer and blusher palette! However, I will say the blushes do dominate as you’re getting two shades of blush and one highlighter in the lighter palette called The Rose Bar and one darker shade in the palette called The Berry Bar.
This concept isn’t necessarily new as I believe it was last year when Tarte released their Shape Tape Glow Bar Palette which came in the same packaging but that particular palette featured bronzer and highlighter shades no blush. Personally, the blush is a huge incentive for me to buy as I’m not much of a highlighter or bronzer girl but I do love blush. These feel very Hourglass Ambient Palette looking but what’s drawing me in is the fact they look a tiny bit like the Pat Mcgrath x Bridgerton Blushing Delights Palette which I adore. That palette not only has a selection of beautiful shades but also, they have the most beautiful radiant finish. I could swear that the middle pink blush in the Berry Bar Palette is a dupe for the pink shade in the Pat Mcgrath Palette! I love the palette so much and I really should get a backup! So many people were having great success finding it at TJMaxx at a discount but I never did. But if you are comparing this palette to Hourglass just know you’re getting .45 oz of product for $49 versus Hourglass at .30 for $70 bucks.

But I digress…! I think I need both of these new Tarte Shape Tape Glow Blush Bars. I rarely found anything Tarte tempting as of late but these look stunning. They are steep at $49 each but the heart wants what the heart wants LOL!
