Mahindra Group chairman, Anand Mahindra, is known for sharing a number of unique things via his Twitter/X profile. Recently, the Mahindra boss shared an intriguing video showing a million-dollar (Rs 8 crore) motorhome. Along with this video, he wondered if two of his group companies – Mahindra Trucks and Mahindra Lifespaces – should collaborate to build something like this.

Anand Mahindra shared this unique motorhome video on X (formerly Twitter). In the caption of the post, he stated, “Maybe this could be the outcome of a collaboration between Mahindra Trucks @MahindraTrukBus and Mahindra Lifespaces @life_spaces! #Sundaydreams”.
Will Mahindra build a motorhome?
Now, whether Anand Mahindra is serious about building a motorhome is currently unknown. However, as stated in the caption, it could just be an idea which he would like to see come to fruition. As of yet, there seems to be no sign that Mahindra could make something like this. The primary reason being that India does not have a big enough market for such motorhomes.
American Coach Class A Motorhome
Coming to the motorhome seen in the video, as the presenter states, it is an American Coach Class A motorhome. These motorhomes are made in America and cost anywhere between $700,000 – $1 million (approximately Rs 5.8 to Rs 8.2 crore) new.
These motorhomes come powered by a heavy-duty Cummins ISX15 diesel engine. This massive engine produces a maximum power in the range of 400-600 bhp and torque in the range of 1966 Nm to 2779 Nm.
American Coach Class A motorhome: Interior
The presenter in the video mentions that they have traded in their old RV for this new America Coach motorhome. She then opens the door and gives a tour of the interior of this super cool motorhome. She first shows the driving seat and all the latest technology installed in it for easy driving.
After this, she shows the main living areas of the motorhome. She states that this motorhome comes with an extendable living room with two sofas. There is one on the right and the other on the left. The one on the left side also gets powered Ottoman-style seats.
Next up, she shows the television which rises after a push of a button. Next up, she shows the kitchen and dining area for the motorhome. It can be seen that it gets a diner-style kitchen table and seats setup.

After this, she shows the kitchen in which she mentions it gets a ton of amenities. The first thing she shows is a two-burner induction, a dishwasher, and tons of storage spaces. She states that it also gets an extendable marble counter.
Moving on, she shows the half bathroom in the living room. Next up, we can note the full-size double-door refrigerator, a washer, and a dryer. The presenter also shows the pantry and a few more storage spaces.
Main bedroom
Finally, she moves to the main bedroom of the motorhome which gets a massive queen-sized bed. She adds that there is also a television in front behind which there is a hidden space with a locker to keep valuable possessions.
Next up, she moves to the master bathroom which gets a water closet, a vanity mirror with storage, and a closet for clothes. Finally, the presenter shows the full-size shower which gets a glass door and has ample space for one person. So, would you want Mahindra to build something like this for India?
