Hyundai has begun deliveries of the much-anticipated Creta N-Line performance variant. The sporty SUV was launched in India in mid-March 2024, generating significant interest among driving enthusiasts. Customers who booked the Creta N-Line can now expect to receive their vehicles in the coming weeks.
A YouTube video uploaded by ‘Tech Media Vision’ shows the delivery of the Huyndai Creta N line finished in a beautiful shade of Atlas White. This specific car is the dual-tone variant and comes with an Abyss black-coloured roof. In the video, the vehicle is covered in red cloth, which is pulled off, revealing the stunning Creta N Line. The video continues to show the happiness and joy of the family. Buying a new car is truly an experience of its own. The pooja of the vehicle follows the delivery.
The arrival of the Creta N-Line comes at a time when waiting periods for Hyundai Creta variants are at their peak. The standard Creta petrol currently has a waiting period of two to four months, while the diesel variant has a waiting period upwards of six months, depending on the chosen variant and location. Hyundai has also revealed that most bookings are for automatic transmission. So, opting for a manual variant will result in a shorter wait time.
This waiting period is likely due to multiple factors, including high demand and ongoing supply chain challenges the auto industry faces. In just six weeks since its launch, Hyundai received about 75,000 bookings for the face-lifted version of the Creta, which is a milestone on its own. Currently, Hyundai has about 97,000 pending bookings for the Creta SUV.
On the other hand, the performance-oriented iteration of the SUV is seeing a shorter wait time of six to eight weeks from the day of booking. However, this waiting period is expected to increase due to increased demand for N-Line cars.
Hyundai launched the Creta N Line on March 11, 2024, targeting people who want something unique for their daily driving needs. The cosmetic changes done to the SUV are a refreshed front fascia, new 18-inch alloy wheels, red inserts in both interior and exterior, a redesigned rear bumper, an all-black interior theme, and a sporty steering wheel.
Performance upgrades include re-tuned steering dynamics for better handling, a stiffer suspension setup, and a sporty dual-tip exhaust. The Creta N Line comes with the most powerful engine option available in the SUV’s line-up: a 1.5-liter turbocharged GDI petrol, producing 160 hp and 253 Nm of torque.
Buyers can choose either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. The pricing of the Creta N line has been kept very minimal, at just Rs. 30,000 more than the regular version. Launched in two variants, the N8 and N10, the N8 starts at Rs. 16.82 lakhs ex-showroom, and the N10 begins at Rs. 19.34 lakhs ex-showroom.
The arrival of the N-Line variant and the face-lifted Hyundai Creta highlight Hyundai’s commitment to cater to a broader range of customer preferences within the popular compact SUV segment. While the N-Line caters to performance enthusiasts, the face-lift targets a broad range of customers.
