1. Federico Valverde‘s volley, Real Madrid 3-3 Manchester City @79 minutes
Federico Valverde’s second-half volley equalizer tops the highlights in a game featuring some of the most exquisite Champions League finishes this season.
Luka Modric turned back the years to take the ball upfield to find Vini Jr., who sent in a pinpoint floating cross to Valverde’s right to finish. But the timing and technique of the Uruguayan’s hit sealed the deal. Talk about saving the best for last—Zidan-esque!
2. Phil Foden curler, Real Madrid 2-2 Manchester City @65 minutes
Phil Foden continued his unreal season with a sublime, targeted strike to the left corner, bringing City back to level terms in the second half.
After Bernardo Silva creates space on the right, he dishes it to Stones, who hits a square Foden rightfully teeing up the fizzer outside the 18-yard box. “I just felt the sweet connection with it, and it’s something I always practice in training when you receive it on the edge of the box. Sometimes they don’t go in, and I’m just thankful today I see it go into the top corner…” Foden told TNT after the match.
3. Josko Gvardiol’s blast, Real Madrid 2-3 Manchester City @71 minutes

It was Josko Gvardiol’s blast in the 71st minute outside the 18-yard box, the mirror opposite Foden’s strike. Gvardiol receives the ball on his right from Grealish and corrects his overzealous touch with a banger. That’s one way to score your first goal for the club.

But while Foden’s curler may be the superior goal, Saka’s glorious bender is equally mouthwatering. The star boy nearly scored to put the Gunners ahead in the game’s final moment.
5. Serge Gnabry, Arsenal 1-1 Bayern Munich @18 minutes
The former Gunner Serge Gnabry made his old team pay for a costly mistake. After returning after a long injury, the Bayern forward equalized the scoring with a clinical goal. The strike reenergized the Bavarian giants, who took the lead 10 minutes later on a successful Kane penalty.
