Soccer manga Blue Lock’s upcoming anime film Blue Lock: Episode Nagi has revealed a new promo video and snapshots ahead of its April 19 premiere!
Adapted from the original manga written by Muneyuki Kaneshiro with illustrations by Yusuke Nomura, Blue Lock follows high school student Yoichi Isagi, who joins thousands of other hopefuls in the Blue Lock training program to restore the fortunes of the national team following its crushing defeat at the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
The upcoming film will adapt spin-off manga Blue Lock: Episode Nagi, which follows Seishiro Nagi, an unmotivated yet extremely talented player, before he joins Blue Lock.
Blue Lock: Episode Nagi will premiere in Japan on April 19, 2024.
